    We have a chat box, its at the bottom. We don't have a portal though, I dont think...

    It helps the one role-playing with the other, to see some background info, without having to resort to looking entirely at their application. Better identification, and representation for a character to have.

    meh. You want background info, find their app. Besides, most characters wouldn't know about another unless he was famous anyway, which you would need to look in the app to find out about.
